Lorraine Kurfiss Remington, 89, passed away with family at her side on Oct. 16, 2017. She was born Feb. 28, 1928, to Harry and Gladys Kurfiss in Dillon and grew up in Sheridan.

Elfrieda “Fritzi” Kober Idleman entered the kingdom of Heaven on Sept. 19, 2017.

Scott Charles Barbour, age 63, died at the University of Colorado Anshcutz, in Denver, Colo., on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017.

Melvin P. (Mel) Peterson of White Sulphur Springs, Mont., passed away Aug. 20, 2017, after a prolonged illness.

Robert H. Tyler Jr., passed away on Aug. 23, supported by Chris Tyler (Leah) and Erica Tyler-Whitney (Aaron). Rob began life on Aug. 1, 1937, on the Weir-Tyler Ranch on the Stillwater River.

Ron (Skeez) Schara was born on Dec. 22, 1959, in Circle, Mont., to Melvin and Ruth (Lokken) Schara. He joined older siblings Dan, Tom, and Marlys.

Florence Hossfeld, 96, passed away on Aug. 18, 2017. Age claimed her body, but heaven claimed her soul. Florence was born Dec. 23, 1920, to Pete (Emery) and Mabel Gee in Rapelje, Mont.
