The wintry spring weather departed in time for Stillwater Legacy Trails to hold its second annual Putters and Pints for Paths fundraiser last Saturday. Thirty-three four-person teams travelled to businesses around Columbus via the “trout bus” to take part in a “putt putt pub crawl” putting competition.
After a slow start to the season caused by several game cancellations due to the weather, the Stillwater Renegades travelled to Lewistown last Saturday to finally face some conference competitors.
It’s been a month since Columbus set a record snowfall winter, topping 7.1 feet by the first week in March. Mother Nature wasn’t done with us yet. Or rather, isn’t done with us yet.
