RPR Renegades open season 2-1

BOYS
The Reed Point-Rapelje Renegade boys have started the basketball season with two wins and one loss.
The team opened against Fromberg Dec. 3 with a 20-point victory, beating the Falcons 71-51. Trevor Herzog lead with 26 points followed by Cade Bare with 13 points.
The next game came on Dec. 9 with a 63-15 win against Broadus. Herzog again led with 17 points, followed by Bare’s 16 and Tristan Gieser’s 11.
The loss came Dec. 10 against DGS with a final score of 42-38. Herzog and Bare each recorded 11 points.

GIRLS
The Lady Renegades also stand with two wins and one loss.
The Dec. 3 game against Fromberg ended with a 73-38 win. Destiny Ayers poured in 36 points while Carlee Blodgett also reached double-digit numbers with 20 points.
RPR took on DGS on Dec. 9, winning that game 44-40. Mercedes Hoff led the team in scoring with 12 points while Ayers added 11.
The Dec. 10 game against White Sulphur Springs saw RPR lose 29-22. Nynah Bryant and Ayers each had eight points.
