Gregerson, McMillen named All-State

Two members of the 18-9 Stillwater Renegades co-op softball team were named 2016 All-State and First Team All-Conference selections for the Eastern Division – senior pitcher Hailee Gregerson and junior catcher Shelby McMillen.
Gregerson also received recognition by her team as most valuable player, for most home runs and for highest batting average.
On the mound, Gregerson struck out 219 batters in 2,692 pitches over 155 innings with five shutouts and a 2.92 earned-run average.
Gregerson ended the season with a .494 batting average, which included 43 hits, 34 RBIs, 10 doubles, two triples and seven home runs.
McMillen also was given the team’s Defensive Player Award. She ended the season with a .446 batting average, the Renegades’ second highest, which included 37 hits, 20 RBIs, 10 doubles and one home run.
Senior left fielder Mykaila Berry was named to the Second Team All-Conference Team for the Eastern Division. Berry also was given the Renegade Award as the team’s best leader. She ended the season with a .400 batting average that included 14 RBIs.
Also receiving awards were senior center fielder Maisey Sheppard for most stolen bases and junior shortstop Erin Campbell for most improved player.
Sheppard ended the season with a .405 batting average that included 15 RBIs. She also had 19 stolen bases. Campbell ended the season with a .343 batting average and 16 RBIs.
Gregerson and McMillen are from Park City, Berry is from Columbus, and Sheppard and Campbell are from Absarokee.
Renegade head coach John Smith also wanted to recognize the hard work put in by assistant coaches Randy Crawford and Rochelle Gravance.
