Absarokee Students Compete in Special Olympics

Two students from Absarokee High School competed last Friday in Billings at Montana’s Special Olympics Yellowstone Valley Area Games, held at Daylis Stadium.
AHS Senior Allison Heyneman, daughter of Alex and Andrea Heyneman of Absarokee, competed in standing long jump, softball throw, and 500M cycling. AHS Junior Casey Curl, daughter of Shannon and Dawn Curl, also of Absarokee, competed in standing long jump, 100m dash, softball throw, and 500m cycling.
The Absarokee team is coached by Dawn Curl and Katrin Chandler.
