Putting on a fun face for a great community cause

The wintry spring weather departed in time for Stillwater Legacy Trails to hold its second annual Putters and Pints for Paths fundraiser last Saturday.
Thirty-three four-person teams travelled to businesses around Columbus via the “trout bus” to take part in a “putt putt pub crawl” putting competition.
The “Flying Hawaiians” won the competition with the lowest overall score. Team members were Phil Davey, Jake Miller, and Cory and Ty Hamilton.
Awards for several other categories were also presented. The full list of award winners is below.
Stillwater Legacy Trails is a local group with the mission to “contribute to the active lifestyles and safety of our families by actively raising funds to expand the trails system,” according to the group’s Facebook page.
