Waltner
On Dec. 21,2016, at 8:43 p.m. a beloved wife of 62 years, mother, Gram, and Great-Gram took hold of Jesus’s hand and went to her eternal home in heaven. She went peacefully surrounded by her loving family .
Bonnie Faye (Leisy) Waltner is survived by her husband Dr. Richard H. Waltner of Park City, Mont., her sons Rick Waltner and his wife Cindy (Nauman), Scott Waltner and his wife Donna (Dupea) of Columbus, Mont., five grandchildren, Cole Waltner (Shasta) of Columbus, Mont., Clay Waltner (Nichole) of Absarokee, Mont., Riley Hudiburgh (Jeff) of Billings, Mont., Marquita Kopilitz of Ashland City, Tenn., Zach Kopilitz of Minot, North Dakota, and 10 great grandchildren, sister Ann (Leisy) Popken Mortenson of Lincoln, Neb., and numerous nieces and nephews. Extended family, Brianne Hood (John) and their two children of Billings, Mont., Brittany Dupea and her two children of Columbus, Mont.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Robin, her parents, William and Fern Leisy, brother Tom Leisy, brother-in-law Leon Popken, and daughter-in-law Tammy (Saldana)Waltner. Oh what a joyous reunion she had as she entered the gates of heaven!
Bonnie was a woman of great faith. This being so evident in her servants heart, always putting others
and their needs first before her own. She had unconditional love, deep compassion, and an unfailing strength that kept her going till her last days. Her unwavering trust in her Lord and Savior, and His promises, gave her a peace which surpasses all understanding.These are virtues she has passed onto the three generations of Waltners who were part of her daily life.
We, her family, find peace and comfort in knowing she is in her Father’s arms, and we have God’s promise of seeing her again. Bonnie’s presence and beautiful smile will be greatly missed. Heaven has gained an incredible woman!

A private family internment will be held in the spring when new life abounds.
