Arleeta May Robuck (Oikle), 90, passed away Feb. 16, 2017. Arleeta was born June 16, 1926, to Ancel J. and Iva May Pearson near Rapelje.
Arleeta lost her mother when she was only 13 years old. She had the privilege of helping raise her three brothers and two sisters.
At the age of 17 she married her school sweetheart, Bob Robuck, in Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho, on Feb. 28, 1944. A marriage of 55 years.
Arleeta was a great soul mate, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She was an avid gardener, a member of the Assembly of God Church, President of the Women’s Ministries, wrote poems and worked as a nurses aide in California and Montana. She had numerous hobbies.
Arleeta and Bob raised their six children in various states. Gloria (Lonnie) Riddle, Roundup; Roberta (George) Marsh, Rapelje; Charles (Earlene) Robuck, Columbus; Vicki (Rick) Wheeler, Ronan; and twins Martin (Rhonda) Robuck, Rapelje, and Marlene (Ovid) Wren, Prescot, Ariz.
Arleeta is survived by her sister Nadene (Al) Ross of Longview, Wash.; 19 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Arleeta was preceded in death by her husbands Bob and Carl; her parents; brothers Carl, Vernon, and Clyde; sister Mary Etta Wodrich; her son Charles Robuck; grandson Keagan Marsh; and granddaughter La Dena Riddle.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of hospice and Arleeta’s personal caregivers, Mary Steiner, and Christy Butterworth.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at the EUB Church of Rapelje. A private burial was held at the Rapelje Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations be to the Rapelje Church or Compassus Hospice Care.
