Burch

July 11, 1986 — March 15, 2017

Kyle Fletcher Burch was born July 11, 1986, in Ekalaka, Mont. He passed away March 15, 2017, in Billings, Mont., after a long-term battle with mental illness.
As a child, Kyle was a kind and sensitive soul who loved all things sports. You would often find him playing one sport or another in his backyard with his brother, or around town with friends.
In his teen years, Kyle grew to be an excellent tri-sport student athlete for the Columbus Cougars, and helped lead them to many winning seasons.
Kyle graduated high school with honors in 2005, and went on to play football at Montana State University that fall.
That year, addiction and mental illness took ahold of his life, and he never recovered until his passing.
Kyle is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ellis and Jo Burch; maternal grandmother, Eileen Larson; and father, Mark Burch.
He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Larson of Billings, Mont.; stepfather, Dave Reynolds of Reed Point, Mont.; brother Zane (Jessica) Burch of Columbus, Mont., and their boys, Leo and Ellis; sister Drake Burch of Ekalaka, Mont.; grandfather, Keith Larson of Spearfish, S.D.; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and Dave Reynolds’ family.
A funeral service will be held at Columbus Community Congregational Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25. In lieu of gifts, please send donations to a mental health agency of your choice.
