Hoagland

Trinkia was born Aug. 9, 1964, to William R. and Frances P. (Bare) Bokma in Columbus, Mont., and passed away peacefully in her own home surrounded by family on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017. She graduated from Columbus High School and then attended Northwest College for two years.
She married the love of her life, Lester Hoagland, on May 24, 1986, and to this union two children were born. Together they lived on their ranch north of Rapelje for 21 years. Then they sold their ranch and moved to a small place just outside of town, where she lived her last 10 years. During this time she had several jobs, which included cleaning houses, church custodian and caretaker of the cemetery. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed all of her animals, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her father, William, paternal grandparents, CR and Evelyn Bokma, and maternal grandparents, Charley and Bertie Bare, and twin niece and nephew.
Survived by her husband, Lester, of 31 years; mother Frances; brother Rodger (Amy); two children Malynda (Danny) Leuthold and Brady (Cory) Hoagland and two grandchildren, Cade and Trey Leuthold, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Committal service will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery in Columbus on Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. for the family. The memorial service to celebrate Trinkia’s life will be held at the Rapelje Evangelical Church at 2 p.m. Memorials can be made to the Rapelje Church, Stockman Café or place of your choice.
