Fatal I-90 rollover caused by rear blown tire

An elderly Oregon man was killed in a single car rollover on I-90 caused by a rear tire blow-out near Park City Saturday.
Roger August Haas, an 82-year-old from Portland, Ore., was killed in the 12:30 p.m. crash in the eastbound lane of I-90 near Park City. Haas was pronounced dead at the scene.
Haas was driving a 1997 Lexus when his right rear tire blew out, said MHP Trooper Joe Hensley. Haas over-corrected and rolled.
Haas was traveling 84 mph according to radar in a semi truck that witnessed the crash, said Hensley.
MHP, deputies, the Park City ambulance, Columbus Fire Rescue and the coroner responded the scene.
It was the third sudden and accidental death in Stillwater County in the last three weeks.
