Breaking News: Porn discovered on computer of county weed coordinator already under investigation

The state investigation into Stillwater County Weed Coordinator Will Patterson has taken a new twist.
Pornography has been found on Patterson's work computer, according to a letter from Stillwater County Attorney Nancy Rohde to Montana Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Bureau Chief John Strandell.
Patterson is currently on administrative leave with pay for allegedly using county equipment on the private property of Stillwater County Commissioner Dennis Shupak. Both men are the subject of DCI's investigation. The allegations were first made in June to Rohde, who notified the Stillwater County Sheriff's Office. From there, the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office agreed to conduct the investigation. DCI took over the case when it became apparent that more expertise and manpower would be needed. A DCI agent was in Columbus this week.
Evidence in the case includes several photographs.
New information contained in Rohde's letter to Strandell includes the possibility that Patterson allegedly used county equipment and possibly county weed products at more than one private property.

COMMISSIONERS
The Stillwater County Commissioners expressed their desire to get Patterson back on the job. In an email to Rohde dated July 25, Commissioner Gerald Dell wrote the following:
"Any updates on the investigation. We are in need of the computer and the weed coordinator back, we are in the hot time of the weed season. And we are short handed. Thanks."
The email was copied to Commissioners Maureen Davey, Dennis Shupak and Undersheriff Chip Kem.
Rohde responded as follows:
"Given the nature of information that has been gathered to date, it is not possible for Mr. Patterson to return to work at this time. The entire investigation must be completed and a final determination made as to whether county property was utilized inappropriately, the locations of such, the financial impact of it to the county and what monetary gain was had by Mr. Patterson. Additionally, the new allegations of pornography on county equipment must also be dealt with," wrote Rohde.
When asked by the News if it was the commissioners' wish that Patterson be put back to work now regardless of the criminal investigation being conducted, Commissioner Gerald Dell responded as follows:
"Stillwater County needs a weed coordinator who can not only manage the department, spray weeds but also administer the grants," wrote Dell.
When asked why Commissioner Shupak was included in the email about the case, Dell said it was a matter of habit.
