Candidates lining up for the June primary
Montana’s open primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7. The deadline for regular voter registration is May 9.
The deadline for candidates to file for election is March 14. Candidates who have filed as of Feb. 29 include:

County election judges needed
Stillwater County is in need of election judges to serve in upcoming elections.
An election judge must be at least 18 and a registered voter, also registered in the precinct in which they live. Additionally, candidates or spouses of candidates cannot serve.
Duties include manning polling places, counting ballots and various other activities. Mandatory training is being held at the Columbus Community Congregational Church in March on the following dates, with judges needing to attend one:
•March 22 at 10 a.m.
•March 23 at 2 p.m.
•March 31 at 6 p.m.
