The Stillwater Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity which was formed for the purpose of operating the Museum of the Beartooths.

The Columbus/Stillwater County Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) supports the preservation and restoration of the Stillwater County Courthouse, Stillwater County’s landmark public structure.

I have enjoyed the privilege of traveling across the country and around the world. I have seen the benefit of investing in historic buildings and venues that are centuries old.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was able to participate in the National Day of Prayer observance May 7.

As I listened to the radio last Monday, everything I heard about Memorial Day dwelt on the contribution of the veterans who had died in American was since World War II.

I’m not a miner and I’m not a miner’s wife. Why do I stand with the Stillwater miners? The Stillwater miners are members of our community. They raise their families here.

I would like to offer a counter-point to the 14 May 2015 letter by J.F. (Jack) Knorr.

Preserving Historical Buildings is one way of passing our Heritage on to future generations.
