Women's March Jan. 21 in Helena

I would like to tell readers about a historical event that is happening in Helena, Mont., on Jan. 21. It is a Women’s March but not limited to just women. Many men will be joining us in solidarity to defend our civil rights, to stand with our minority sisters and brothers of all faiths, to affirm that women’s rights are human rights and that ultimately we have the last word when it comes to decisions about our reproductive issues. We are marching to show the new State and National Administrations that they have a mandate to protect all civil liberties.
We will start lining up on 8th Avenue between Roberts and Sanders St. at 11:30 a.m. and start the march promptly at 12 p.m. This is not just happening in Helena, Mont., but in Washington D.C. and in every state capital of the nation on Jan. 21. Sign up, donate, join the action and let your voice be heard. There has never in the history of this country been a time when our combined civil liberties have been so threatened.
If you would like more information and/or would like to attend the march or donate to help please go to: or to contact your local coordinator for the march, email:
