Urge lawmakers to vote no on Trans-Pacific Partnership

With the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) coming to vote soon, it is important for us to ask: “Should our congressional delegation support a secretly negotiated trade agreement that favors international corporations and economies or should they support Montana’s agricultural, manufacturing, large and small businesses, and entrepreneurs from ensuing laws and law suits by international conglomerates?”
Enactment of the TPP would continue the offshoring of jobs and weakening of our communities that started under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and which caused a destabilization of our economy including an increase of $40 billion ($40,000,000,000) of agriculture imports and other low quality products.
The result is that United States’ producers and exporters have suffered, which translates to lost employment opportunities.
Please join me in asking Representative Ryan Zinke and Senators Jon Tester and Steve Daines to safeguard Montana’s economy and jobs by voting “NO” when the TPP legislation comes before them.
