Separate meeting for city budgets a positive step

In regards to the Stillwater County News report on last week’s Columbus City Council meeting concerning medical coverages for city employees it was not reported that I recommended that the upcoming budget for the city be the only item on the agenda at a scheduled council meeting or to have a separate budget work day.
I believe this would allow a more efficient and through review of the budget and be a positive step forward for everyone concerned.
