Journeys in Faith

You say you are “busy.”
I believe you.
Each month you start with a clean slate, then you start filling in the blank spaces on your calendar. The calendar takes on a whole different look.
But wait — have you set aside a time for prayer and worship? Many times the answer is no. Go back through your calendar and re-evaluate your commitments. What do they say about you and your priorities?
“God made Heaven, Earth and sea and everything in them; he rested on the seventh day; he set it apart as a holy day.”
God asks that we love him and our neighbor and that we place no idols before him. How many idols do we have in our lives which get in the way of our time to spend with God in His house of worship?
Please consider worshiping on Sunday mornings with your friends and community members. What a wonderful witness we can make when we are standing together in prayer and worship throughout our community. Dare I say throughout the state and nation. Nothing is impossible without God.
