Anderson

May 31, 1928 – April 6, 2018

Geraldine P. Anderson – wife to John Anderson, retired RN, and president of Stillwater Senior Citizen Center in Absarokee.
She was born May 31, 1928, (now everyone knows how old she really was) in Washington state to Luella Fouatiane.
A feisty, red-headed girl with the bright blue eyes, she attended school, helped her momma (who was a hair dresser), cleaned house, and cooked. While in school, she worked as a telephone operator, then graduated.
She attended college in Washington and Idaho Catholic school. The nuns taught her registered nursing. Geri brought many babies into this world and also, in later years, helped many pass gracefully to their next life. She lived all over the United States and Canada.
Geri married John in 1974 in Cody, Wyo. They had a wonderful life together and rescued many cats and dogs. Her favorite was Annie, the smartest dog ever!
On April 6, just before lunch, our sweet, dear heart was taken to heaven.
She is preceded in death by her mother, baby boy, sister-in-law Gail and Duane Eberheart. She is survived by her loving husband John; sister-in-law Allene Helgeson of Phoenix, Ariz.; six nieces and nephews; very special friends Cindy and Richard Kissler and her one and only favorite kid Abby Kissler, who is in Penn State College.
Geri is the last of her family. But as you know, family isn’t just blood, but love and bridge partners.
Rest well, our feisty, re-headed, blue-eyed, wonderful gal. You will always be the best of the best!!
