Nancy Jane Coleman passed away in Salida, Colo., on March 14, 2018. Nancy was born in Williston, N.D., on Aug. 17, 1949, the daughter of Russel and Betty Shelley.
Nancy grew up on her family’s ranch and attended school in Watford City, N.D., along with her three brothers and sister. After graduation, Nancy attended college where she became a licensed practical nurse and later in life a licensed cosmologist. Nancy enjoyed traveling and lived for varying amounts of time in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, Alaska, New Mexico and Texas.
Nancy is survived by her three children, Michael (Cheri)Coleman of Poncha Springs, Colo., Scott Coleman of Columbus, Mont., and Crystal (Don) Roberts of Palmer, Alaska; 13 grandchildren; her sister Sue (Terry) Lemley; and brothers Leon(Stan)Shelley, Harley Shelley and Steve(Beverly) Shelley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russel and Betty Shelley. Nancy’s services will be held in Absarokee, Mont., in the spring at a date yet to be determined. Friends who desire may send condolences to the family at lewisandglenn.com. Arrangements are with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
